What other options do I have at renewal?
Do nothing
Don't worry, your energy supply will not be cut off. We will simply move you to our Variable Price Plan to keep your business running without interruption.
However, while this offers flexibility, the rates track the market and may not be the best value. To protect your business from price volatility, we recommend locking in a fixed contract.

Frequently asked questions
How soon can I renew my business energy contract?
We will send you a renewal deal 60 days before your current contract is due to end. This allows time for you to compare rates, choose between fixed or variable plans, and avoid being rolled onto our default or out-of-contract rates.
If you were to contact us, we can give you a renewal quote up to 12 months before your business energy contract renewal date.
How do you work out the annual consumption figure on my renewal offer?
The annual consumption figure on your renewal offer is our estimate of the amount of energy that you use on an annual basis. We base this on meter readings you've sent us or our meter readers. We work out your annual consumption using all the meter readings we've had in the last 12 months to understand your monthly consumption. We then add all of these monthly values together to give an annual view. If your business has changed the amount of energy it uses, then the annual consumption figure may not be accurate. That's why we also show the unit rate and standing charge too.
My annual consumption figure seems high, how do I reduce energy consumption in my business?
Reducing your energy usage within your business is a good way of spending less on your business energy bills. Read our small business tips and energy saving advice to help you manage your business energy.
Where can I find my business energy contract end date?
You can find your contract end date on your bill, in your online account or on your renewal letter.
Why do I receive monthly bills when I used to receive quarterly bills?
If we currently send you a bill each quarter, when you renew your contract, we'll start sending you a bill each month. By receiving your bills on a monthly basis, you'll be spreading the cost of your business energy by making smaller, more regular payments.
